When Jesus mentioned to his disciples that he was going to be crucified in Matthew 20, they were in utter shock. They probably had loads of questions in their minds: who will take care of us? Who will help pay our bills? Who will feed us? and the list of questions go on. Interestingly, these are some of the questions we ask ourselves even now as Christians.
Jesus however mentioned something very interesting. He promised that He would send them someone to help them and take care of them. That person that Jesus was speaking about was the Holy Spirit.
In the same vein, we have the Holy Spirit with us as believers. He is available to help us through the complexities and worries of life – if we let him.
Let’s depend on the Holy Spirit to help us through life as Jesus also promised us.
Have a great month ahead.
